Can anyone tell me if Unarmed Damage caps at 250(TKM)?

Unarmed damage tapes dont work cap can be increased with rakarian (sp?) burnout sauce food

So your telling me CA'a and AA's with UA damage are worthless?

Hmmm, I thought it was just every +damage CA/AA EXCEPT unarmed was broken, as unarmed already has the damage mod. Maybe I was wrong at least I didn't buy any.

Some answers...

The only solid caps on skills are the +125 caps on Melee Defense, Ranged Defense, Dodge, Counterattack, and Block. Those are the only solid caps. Oh, and you can only get +25 combined bonus towards a single skill from equipment.

Other than that, no caps. Well, all speed caps at +100 for all practical purposes, but that's a different story.

So there's no damage cap for unarmed. In fact, my base unarmed damage skill right now is +260 (TKM has a +245 unarmed damage bonus and trandoshans get another +15 damage because of our claws).

As for damage skill tapes... Nobody's sure because the developers haven't commented on them, and there's no practical way to test them. The reason being that damage varies by a pretty wide margin, and even if you had +25 in skill tapes (the highest possible) you can't definitively prove that you're doing 25 more points of damage. You also can't disprove it either.

Even if the damage tapes worked, though, it's only on a one-for-one basis. That means that if you have a +5 unarmed damage tape, you do an extra 5 points of damage in battle. Considering the high cost of these skill tapes, is it really worth it, even if you knew for a fact that they worked? Not really.

Hrmm, I remeber TKM having 250 unarmed damage, i'll check in a little.

I know for a fact it doesnt cap at 250, mine is 264.

Now I dont know if theres a cap higher up.

at TKM you get 250 unarmed dmg... so you would have 265, whatever your name is with the longest post...

I was going by the SWG Character Builder which states that TKMs get +245 unarmed damage. The SWG Character Builder might be wrong.
