what is the best profession to supliment TKA?

it all depends, there are many professions that work well with TKA. a fencer can help with defences, and the stun baton is good for attacking, but you have to be able to get to the target. You might try a ranged profession like Rifleman, Pistoleer, or Carbineer. I am a TKM/MRM and i have found i can fight well against anything but a MCM or a jedi.

Something with high damage output and ranged mitigation. Usually rifles for PvP and commando for PvE, both are extremely powerful and have AP3. TK is nice for landing states and KD/dizzies, but lacks in the choice of damage types or damage out put. Or you could pick up BH and use your natural jedi pwning abilities to hunt jedi.

As said, it depends on what you are looking for.


Popular combos are:


TKM/Heavy Swords/Master Brawler with a touch of fencer - best pure PvE combo in the game


TKM/Rifles - very good PvP and good PvE


TKM/Commando - Commando to put on some dots and attack from range then tkm when they get close.


TKM/Fencer/Pistoleer hybrid - ultimate defense stacker


TKM/Doctor - independant and powerful self healing with state cures.

There are alot of prfessions that work well with TKM, I like commando/TKM as once you KD+dizzy your opponment, you can stick a fire on him with the FT and uahit3 away to speed up the kill.

Im TKM / Master Fencer atm, still working on pistoleer...need to turn 0003 pistoleer into 0040, heh. Stacking defenses are fun But yea, Fencer is a good choice.

Plug that into a character builder some time and see what stats you get.

My guess is well over capped melee and ranged defense, around 80 or so def vs dizzy 120 def vs kd and a buncha other stuff

TKM/Master Defender/Force Power 0004


Ranged area KD + enough toughness to never feel a hit = godmode.
