Thread: Thinking of Switching to TKM

Howdy, I'm almost a Master Pistoleer BH 0/0/4/0 and was thinking of changing to TKM/???? I just unlocked my Force Sensitive and was looking for something that would be easier to grind xp than Pistols....I've just heard that TKM can solo xp so fast it's not even funny and since your just converting to FS it really doesnt matter the type of Combat xp. Any thoughts on if I should and what Template I should look at for Maximum PvE?

If you want something JUST to grind XP, go for Master Swordsman. TKAs are very good at PvE but Swordsmen rock at it.

IMO TKM and master sword are probably the fastest 2 for geting XP. with both I generaly tap a lair to get it spawning and start to spin attack. with either I find myself waiting for the spawn to catch up sence everything is dead befor spawn is done although sword drops the pack a bit faster depending on weapon used and your aditional skill mods. unless you plan to grind in geo cave (or other similar spots) I would say either would work for you although TKM has some nicer tools (meditation) avalible to them.

I think I am going to make the switch to TKM/Fencer or something of that nature but my other question is, I wear 80% Kin Comp armor. Most TKM That I see wear very little of anything....Can I level up TKM with Comp Armor or do I need to get something less encumbering? Also do you just fight strictly with your fists or is there some sort of Hand to hand weapon I should Look out for?

Ubese is generally preferred for "leveling" because it has lower encumberences and costs less. Just get a set of good Kinetic Ubese and you should be fine against creatures.
