When it comes to Mokks/Jantas, is it all just kin. damage? So wearing your expensive comp is not worth it? it's better to just get some 75% ubese?

Comp still, it has higher condition. Plus if you want to hunt anything else in the meanwhile, you aren't stuck with 15-25% resists

In this case, the condition is the issue. Ubese, on average, has condition in the 10-15k range, composite is in the 30's and 40's for high end armor

I use ubese for most things because of the encumb. The condition is around 19k. I only use comp armor for the higher end mobs since ubese does a good job. I have a comp set that is geared for elders and such and so on and so forth. Just pick the armor that best fits the situation.

Honestly..
Ubese is great in certain sistuations.... Like when your not buffed, not exscepting a fight and you get jumped.. Then Ubese is a good hassle free choice..
But comp is better for planned hunts and hunts that are your money makers.. Like Mokk/Jantas.. One good buff, comp and afew hours and you most likly will make more then enough money to replace any armor you may junk doing the missions..

I've become a composite convert (layered for kinetic). Of course, this is with 1) buffs and 2) the reverse armor hole, making encumbrance not an issue.
Why? Well, first it's easier to find than ubese. I know of one ubese vendor for every five composite vendors. Second, I can shred a ubese jacket in about a minute. My composite barely has a scratch on it. And, on the plus side, if a random NPC mob takes a potshot at me while I'm wearing composite, it doesn't hurt as much.

I only really need to use BE clothing on Janta/Mokk missions. For some reason, i just don't like bleeding.
