This new VK certification at TKA Novice... Now, I like that. But give the lower level people some sort of weapon to compensate. Like, just knuckles, without the vibro. I just started a new character on the galaxy my friends have been using, and am trying to build him up to TKA(like my other character was)... butat Expert Unarmed, I'm dealing 65 damage without my VKs(Or with), and 200 berserk. A novice marksman with intermediate pistol skills can do more damage than I can, and at the same speed. Yet, at Expert Unarmed I can't kill anything that cons white or above without resting between them? Before the VK cert, this character was doing about 175 without berserk and about 500 with it. That seems reasonable to me. Now, either give some new weapon to compensate for the inability to properly use VKs, or lower the VK cert to Expert or Master, or even Advanced Unarmed. A newbie Brawler should not be able to use VKs, but it's unreasonable to deprive Expert and Master Unarmed Specializationof decent damage. The grind to TKA will take weeks without them.
