Let me start by saying that I pre-purchased SWG, and I have been playing since the day the game arrived. My goal in this game was to be a TKA Master and I am proud to say that I reached that goal, and have enjoyed the visual and tactical effects that this skill very much. I built my character to be the best possible masterTKA I could, while trying to enjoy the entire content of the game including large 20 people groups in PvE, and PvP, down to small groups and even solo.

Today's Patch and the ramifications on the skills of the TKA, have ruined my game playing experience. I spent 2 hours testing my skills in PvP and PvE, and I have never felt so betrayed by a game or game designer.

The effects of the increased costs of Knockdown2 have made it totally useless against the challenging creatures in PvE. I am shocked that the testing of this change did not cause an outrage by the TKA testers, unless of course they didn't spend the last 2 months creating a Master TKA, and had no stake in the successful implementation of these changes or the effects on those of us who did.

I have been a loyal SoE customer since the launch of Everquest, and I have adapted my playing styles many times in order to get the most out of online games when character changes occur, but I am so disapointed by these changes, that I will not continue to play Star Wars Galaxies unless a correction is made to these overwhelmingly unfair TKA changes.

this is absurd. I am not against fair changes, and if they want to down-tweak a few abilities in the sake of making the game fair, well I am all for it.

But this is not balanced. TKA are worthless now. I've given this new patch plenty of chances and thanks for putting in the hard work to try and make the game better, but you NEED to change this back. I refuse to play a gimped out TKA.

This must not have been on purpose but it sucks anyways, we need a response as to if this was intended because right now TKA is honestly much worse than it was before.

They don't need to change it back. 50 HAM drain KD is ridiculous for as powerful as KD is. It shouldn't be 200 either. I'd think 100 would be sufficient without VK. As much as KD fails on the things I HAVE to hunt for xp, it's completely absurd that this will stick.

It's not a nerf, it's an adjustment. But where they needed 2 notches, they bit off 5. Let's see if they figure that out before my account has to be paid

Well guys it IS patch day and since it seems you have all played before you all know that the first week after patches stinks completely. But you all are right Im master TK too and these changes are definately a game wrecking experience. Im sure they will be changed soon enough. Be patient guys.

As you can see from my post total, I am not one to complain on the boards, but this is outrageous and has ruined the gaming experience I had planed for myself and my friends for over 2 years.

Normally I would give the developers time to reply to my concerns and give them the benefit of the doubt, but in this situation. I feel betrayed by the lack of vision and content displayed by the development team to the point that I am compelled to cancel my account at the end of this billing period.

I have made some new friends that I will truely miss, and to my old friends that I persuaded to play SWG, Im sorry to break up the team.
