Im finiding it a pain to get from these. Crazed durnies and vynocks take a while to kill and are only worth 300xp, any ideas?

Bestine missions arent bad at this level, fast $$ and easy medium XP.

Bestine also have Cantina, Hospital & bank very near mission terminals.

It's a pain in the ass no matter what you do.

Kill any and everything in sight. Even back in the day when you could have VK's pre TK novice this climb was pretty tough.

bugger, ive been doing vynocks on corellia, not to bad 290xp grouped and they pretty easy.. oh well.. im half way to 4 =/

guallama on Naboo. At Unarmed 3 I could take one out (do mavericks first, then dappled, otherwise you will get beat down by assists). You get around 600-1.5k, depending on the type of guallama. If you don't have any medic skill, bring a medic looking for good xp. Also, they tend to hit in the mind pool an annoying amount.

I found Corellia to be a great place while working up to nTKA. Try and find tabbages and crazed durni. Also good are the butterflies; they aren't a ton of xp, but not too difficult and there are many many many of them in a nest. If you are strong enough, tackle the butterfly nests that have defenders and warriors for great (1k+ each) xp.

i went from halfway to unarmed IV to novice TKA in a few hours. here is what you do: 1) Buy a mouse droid and group with it. 2)Kill a band of meatlumps/ragtags. 3) Loot. 4)repeat steps 2-3. When you loot a corpse, a new one respawns, and if you find the right place, you can get two bands of gangsters about 75m apart. do this on one band until you have all four dead and there is nothing to loot, and then move to the other band. repeat as necessary. The grouping is just for extra XP. don't try having it tank for you or some such nonsense.

group with a combat medic..or a good medic...and go to the caves on naboo.

well, i did it, yay hehe. Got novice TK tonight, im a combat medic and got pistols 4 so i poisen bleed, send my pet in on mountain worrts and i get 1200 xp each with berserk and uncertified vibros hehe

I just got to novice yesterday. Oh man what a grind. Still got a long ways to go but hey.I found myself going for the less but more route. Corellian Butterflies and Nightspiders were good because they are worth a flat 100 xp (yeah yeah i know), and then i would set targets say like 100 spiders, 100 butterflies and also a few higher level creatures for a challenge but most of the time i found myself in the med center when i did this.

I found staying alive and killing lots of smaller beasts was better in the long run. Also like the other posts say, a good buff is priceless.
