Thread: A neat little todbit for TKA's
Sorry hit send to quickly. well I was on Dantooine yesterday trying to get xp and I decided to try something with kd1. I use a combo now that is pretty much my staple: stun, intimidate, kd, UH2. But I wanted to do something different you know to reach that higher lvl and incorporate more skills. So I used warcry prior to kd1 and let me tell you it appears that the creature has to serve the ten second delay on the ground and then serve the kd timer so it stas down a lot longer without dizzy. I was able to keep a huurton stalker on the ground for at least 20 seconds which is more than enough time to kill it. Anyway try it out and see if you like it.
P.S- If you dizzy, warcry and then kd they stay down even longer.![]()
Posts like this are exactly what we need more of on this board.
Well done, friend.
A good **edit**-bit for low level TK's or people at just novice - a good combo is Lunge1 then Warcry (I always open combat with Blind, Stun, Intimidate anyway). This is kind a like the above example... 1 the Warcry seems to last longer...(maybe stacking on top of the kneel?) and it also appears to make the warcry more likely to be successful.
This has certainly helped me to fight higher level mobs for more XP.
So basically, I do:
Blind, Stun, Intimidate, Lunge, Warcry, then spam UnarmedHit2 with occassional topups on Intimidate.
Actually do KD first then warcry then dizzy...seems like 14-20 seconds of down time...oh and MOCs who get dizzied...hahahahha...the bob up and down..up and down...
Honestly always use warcry on KD victims...this is a little and unkown secret for most TKAs...yeah dizzy helps too but does not affect creatures, only NPCs....so always use Warcry on KD creatures and always use dizzy on KD NPCs!
I have known this for sometime now but I fear that now that the cat is out of the bag...this will get nerfed somehow.
Oops, Sorry if I let the cat out of the bag.
Shhhhhhhh!!
Also suggested to check in with your local Master Bioengineer. the 'Fear Release' adds to intimidate and warcy +10 or more, each. Even with armour, you can get one in a Soft undershirt, one in a bandolieer.. thats +20 right there.. that helps a ton with success rate

Hunting a lot with ym friend (he's TKA heading for master with Master Brawler), you should see this if with his Warcry2 from master brawler... its a mess (for the mob anyway).

i did check....wookies get injury treatment weee!
acutualy there is one pair of shoulder pads that can get melee stats, but its ugly /shrug
This is more or less what I use as well, just a slight variations from me. This is done without vks of course. Vks are used when the mob Im fighting has ar1 though.
Stun/blind/intimidate/dizzy/kd1 til they fall/warcry then uh1 til they die. If everything goes off without a hitch kd lands they go down, warcry hits, and they dont have time to get up before they die. Also helps to get Clothes that have intimidate/warcry mods on them. I have a shirt and a bandolier that stay on in conjunction with my armour.
This technique can drop a kamurith defiler in about 10 secs or less. I can powerboost and mow through a defiler mission in like 10 mins. if everything goes right. Heheh then again things can go bad and I can die on the first pull lol.
