Hunting animals on Dantooine, should I go power tree first? Will KD1 even work on large creatures? Any suggestions appreciated...

I think getting Knockdown is your first option, Dizzy the second. From there it's where ever you wanna go.

I personally did it in this order: Intermediate Balance (Knockdown), Intermediate Power (Dizzy), Intermediate Meditation (heals poison), Advenced Meditation (Powerboost), Advanced Power (Combo1). This is where I am right now (2-1-2-2, did not mention Precision Striking because youuse combat xp for that, noy ua xp).

If you plan on fighting any NPC's, then KD is your friend. If you don't plan on fighting many NPC's early on, then I would go Power 1-4, Balance 1, Meditation 1-4, Balance 2-4. That worked for me...but not everything I do works for everyone else.

Yes...and now that I think about it I would like to change what I said...do balance 1 first. Reason being that you can KD a creature and follow it with warcry1 and it will stay down for 10-20 seconds. Equip your vbks and spam uh2....easy kills against creatures that are AR0 and low kinetic resistance (dantooine hurton stalkers = 4k-5k xp each).

Kind of. I'm taking a balanced approach and advancing skills at the same rate. I took power first. Just one box there allowed me to take lairs on that I could never take with no boxes. Next two boxes I took were precision and balance. Those helped a little but not as much as power.

As for kd and warcry... If you get lucky, it will allow you to do what you want. KD doesn't last long on creatures. If you don't successfully hit warcry on the first try, the animal is back up and standing. At least against Huurton Matrons. Maybe there are better creatures to tackle with that strategy.
