Once I became Master..I unepuip my Vks...
Do you really need the VKs anymore?
I say no..to much Ham Cost..
What do you think?

i use them in pvp, and to take down rancors.

took down a rancor in 10seconds flat, used powerboost + pixie. didnt heal once.

I am not a master yet (should be by end of week only need to fill last two skills.) but here are my 2creds worth. I think that the VK should still be used in only certain instances. Such as you want to knock something down in 3 hits instead of 4. There are times where it is better to have that little extra bit of damage but it looks like it will be few and far between. So I would say that keep um around and even collect them (I know I do just for fun). I like my speed of 1.5, 36-144, 35h 50a 35m VK. Well that is my short answer.

If your referring to PvP then the only times I would suggest using them is if your target is on the ground or your cleaning up CH pets after the deathblow. I would strongly suggest you not use them to chase people around though.

If your talking about PvE then it's really up to you. Like the previous posters stated....if you want to tear through things faster then by all means use them. If your buffed then you really don't have to worry about HAM costs except for mind.

I'm not master yet, but I do have Power Tech 4. I still use VK's, I love the speed bonus. I also have smuggler, only for Spices 4, so I am always on Muon Gold. What I do is set an alarm to go off 9 minutes after I pop the smack so when it goes off, I know I've got 60 seconds to end this fight and find a chill spot for a few. I can usually spam all the specials I want, be quick enough to heal myself when it gets hairy and never see the mind bar go down the tiniest bit, everything that gets near me goes down like a bloody rock. And when I have the good fortune to get buffed, whoa nelly I'm a god. But that's what I do. I take the HAM hit, and pop some stims.

master tka here...i quit using my VKs at master and migrated my stats to use my specials more(KD2,UNARMED3,etc...)... i benefit greatly from the less HAM cost of bare-fists...
