As a TKA we get combat aquity i belive(the one that makes us dodge counter and block more often) and the other melees give bonus to one of those 3 so if i were to say be a Swordsman/tka would i be godly....er i mean would it work to have that bonus to counterattack? I think it owuld be nice to even be a novice Swordsman and just be able t power gammer someone

yes, in some cases the defenses do stack, and can be pretty damned nice. For example +ranged and + melee defenses from all trees will stack, but say+ unamred thoughness, and + swordmen toughness will not.

so you could get lots of kd defenses etc, and its been done before, only probelm with doign this is you dont have any good ranged attacks, other than lunge 2 at master brawler(20m knockdown), or leave yourself with any other good support professions, but if you have a doc or marksman with you at all times, it works rather well

defenses stack nicely...have fun with what i think is an excellent profession choice....
