New to the TK but I like using a /attack on the enemy that i dont want to fight and then moving away as others come after me. Not sure why this happends, but does anyone else have other tactical ideas as a melee char.

Don't get used to it, they are supposed to have fixed this recently.
It was a great way to pull from a group of social monsters though... I used it often.

You can still pull mobs one at time if you are careful. The huurton stalkers have an aggro range of about 15m. Find the one closest to you but farthest from the others, walk about 13 m in front of it, and run away. 9 times out of 10 it will aggro alone without the others. When you get a good distance from the lair turn around and KD+Warcry (or dizzy if it is a 2 legged MOB) and do your thing. Even though I haven't surrendered my master CH yet, I have not used a pet for 2 weeks since I first got TK 0/1/0/0. In fact, I've deleted most of my pets and have 12 mounts growing in my datapad to sell. I say that to show that it's possible to pull mobs without a pet even after the patch. It is a testament to the coolness of the TKA profession that I own a gurreck and a Toxic Merek Battlelord and don't use them anymore.

Does this work anymore? I don't think it does. After the last patch, I have to wade into a hostile lair and take all the aggro. Before I could (say against a huurton matron lair) target the matron, hit attack and wait for everything but the matron come at me. Not anymore though.
