Dantooine is doable pre-TKA novice if you have a pet to handle agro for you. You should use some sort of armor and you should have stims available to keep and your pet alive, but if you are personally fighting one critter at a time andalways make sure your immediate opponent is de-buffed (blind, stun, and intimidate doesn't hurt) and you are berserked as soon as you get the last de-buff to it, you can solo (with a pet) dantooine. It's not easy exp (though it is fairly fast at 2K or more unarmed per critter). but it can be relatively safe. My guess is that the TKA who told you Dantooine was either a CH, or was basing the advice on what he did at novice TKA rather than unarmed 4.

Now, very safe at unarmed for is newbie planet newbie critter lairs. Attack the lairs to bring all them on you then unarmed spin them to death. 2 unarmed spins will kill 4 or 5 kreetles at once. Yes, they are only 50 exp a piece or so, but you can kill a kreetle lair in around 30 seconds and get 500 to 1000 exp. Just go around your newbie planet of choice looking for easy lairs to spin kill and medium difficulty lairs to attack conventionally.

I don't believe you are getting the maximum XP for your investment in time by doing Dantooine before TKN. I am currently doing Perlek missions to get to Novice Fencer ( I'm already TKM ) and I can get far more XP here than 20K per hour. You are getting 3500 per mob but it takes several minutes to kill. I am getting 800 - 1800 per perlek and they take less than 1 minute to kill.

Dantooine from TKN onwards is awesome and that's how I did master, but I wouldn't recommend it before then as you really don't do enough damage to kill quickly.

Raspi, thats true, for sure, but im having a lot of fun trying to kill hard mobs. I dont care the time I need to arrive to TKN if i have FUN during this time.... and killing low level stuff in mass during hours is not my concept of fun.

If my only objetive was to arrive to TKM asap, i will go with a friend MCH and will let him tank the mobs for me getting great exp, but I want fun in all my stages in the game, not just getting a tittle.

I asked to a TK in my server what to hunt to get good Unarmed exp and he told me.. "get doc buffs and go to dantooine and do bols, piglets and huurtons missions"... but im only at Unarmed 4, i said... "just try it" he told me.

So I went to Dantooine, payed 6k for doc buffs, drank some fishaks for mind buff and equipped my composite.

Ok, im ready, i said. Went to the terminal missions and took 1 pickets and 1 bol missions, both level 32. When I arrived there i saw red cons mobs... **edit**!! i said... well lets try, im cloned and still have 1 death before insurance penalty applies to me. So I pulled a picket with my pet and when he arrived to me i started fighting him leaving my pet out of the fight. And after a few minutes and some heals the **edit** was dead!!! almost 3500 uxp in a row, couldnt believe it!!!

Of course I couldnt finish one single mission, stayed there for an hour and killed some more pigglets and I got more than 20k uxp and A LOT of fun trying to split the mobs.

If i cand do this at unarmed IV, cant wait to see what a TK can do

TKs can kill nunas and rock bettles with the best of them =)

you have alot to look forward too, just dont get hit with a flame dot in a desert
