Is Meditate Master worth the extra time and points? Is there some other route for TKA that i should take up instead?
After getting whacked with some slow and annoying diseases/poisons (and the delicious wound damage that comes with it), I looked into Meditate and like what i read , I'm just wondering if it's worthwhile enough to get?
ALso , when at master , how quickly will it heal wounds?
Thanks

Firstly, Meditation is a great skill. Very nice. I would definetely advise it, but some things you should know (but you probably do already) -
1. Meditation is a post - battle only skill. It won't help if you keep dying from CM's or DoT, as you're not gonna sit down and meditate in the middle of a fight.
2. You may want to consider 0/0/0/4 for defence.
3. Meditate at 4000 heals at about 15 wounds per/1.5 - 2 seconds. Someone will have to clarify that, as I don't have exact numbers.

Well, the only way to answer that question is to follow up with another question. Do you plan on doing PvE or PvP primarily? If you plan on going PvE, the Meditation tree will quickly become your best friend. I can't tell you how useful it is being able to heal your own disease when deep in the Endor forest. Powerboost is also wonderful, giving you that added bit of HAM so you can solo toughernasties unbuffed.
If you plan on PvP, well, Meditation tree won't be as useful as going 0400 or 0004. Either pick up the added state defenses or the ranged/melee defense mods, althought being a Master Swordsman/Master Fencer/Master Brawler, your ranged/melee defense mods will be high enough as it is.

Mediation is imo allways worth to get...cure bleeds/poison/disease, healing wounds(incl. mindpool) and powerboost are nice to have for a melee-fighter....and may u should think twice for going fencer....since all good fencer weapons are ap0 ucan deal not much damage against high-end-mobs in pve and u will suck in pvp cuz most ppl. wearing stun-armor/psg....fencer was king of the hill as long as scatterhit was bugged and bypassed any toughness...by now u have to stick with dots to deal some serious damage in pvp...if u plan to do the new jedi quests have in mind that u need 24 sp for the 6 branches u have to learn before gettin your second char...i switched my good old stacker template(master brawler/swords/tka 4304/fencer 0440/medic 0040) to master brawler/swords/tka/medic 0040(later in the quests going for 2000)....i still can solo each and any npc in the game and doing fine in dwb or geno....

People keep forgetting Force of Will.
No it doesn't always work but when it does it can save your life or help you win a fight. It's a valuable skill.

Force of Will can save your life anytime, it has for me in PvE and PvP, saves some decay. And the meditation 4 w/o Master TK heals around 18 wounds per heal.

TK 4/0/0/0 is definitely worth it. That's why I'm grinding through it.
