Thread: Best way to get from Unarmed IV to Teras Kasi Novice?

Whats the best way to get from unarmed IV to TK novice? Right now im doing quenker lairs and its painfully slow. Please include strategies, creatures, and how long it might take. Thanks.

i did it in about an hour and half last week on a spawn of valarians in eisley
i was buffed,had a speed sliced vk equiped and used spinattack1, let em argo and walk toward you, i was hitting 5 or 6 of them constantly and just looting the bodys as they dropped...had 800 bf afterwards butdid itno probs and also had enough combat exp to train xxx1 straight away too

I did it the quenker way, while eating pizza. Fire away the macro, and start chomping on the pizza .

Get a VK with sliced speed and settle down in the 4 rivers (buffed of course) You might want to have a friend with you, Thats how i did it.

Dantooine: Quenker or Huurton missions (Get buffs and spam spin1 on the hives for most effect)
Lok: Mynock missions for 9K+ payout (Be buffed, get disease buff also...they stack disease...but the payout is what your looking for) Hell I still do Lok mynock missions because they are so easy, and I can crank out some serious cash in a couple hours...it's the only way to solo missions and get some mean cash anymore.

Anybody ever try Klikniks on Yavin IV? I've been grinding pistols there for a while and came to this forum because I'm a BH and my pistols-heavy template gives me little chance of ever actually killing a Jedi. I'd like to try TK to see if I like it better, but I'm addicted to the $12k payout.
I like Klikniks because they can poision but rarely do and give 3k-5k xp per critter. I regularly get 30k-40k xp per lair from them, and can do 4 in an hour with my pistols ($50k per hour).

not bad...been looking for something better than 10K payouts of Pickets on Dant.

Ferral Banthas on tat. Speed sliced vk's...spin attack the lair. They drop like flies and give 1100+ each. Find 3-4 lairs and your done.
This is my third time around to TK. Ive done the Dant thing, Lok, Yavin...ect. And Ferral Banthas are by far the fastest and easiest IMO.
Can go from unarmed4 to nov TK in WELL under an hour.

As above... this is possible my most favourite part of TKA, because although you are still relatively puny, all the hard work of the first four boxes is over and you now have the spinarooney, making the slaughter so much more fun

hehehe, found a better one.
Stupid Bat Cave on Rori. With the increased spawn, I went from Swords 4 (0 xp over) to Novice Swordsman (MAXED out XP) in about 45 minutes...and it was SO freaking EASY! No hunting for lairs, they just pop up over and over. And you can get a few clothing/armor attachements also from the trash piles (not many, and only 1 pointers...but hey, why not if you are that low in ability right now)
Every bat gave me between 895 and 990 xp, 3 at a time and there are about a dozen spawn spots as you run through...just do a front to back sweep and your looking at 32K+ XP per sweep. Sweep takes about 5-6 minutes. And they spawn back in behind you

aye id agree with Halotest here ive grinded tkm back in november 2003 or there about s unbuffed on pickets and again on test centre and ferral banthas or by far the easiest way to get novice tka i did it unbuffed on test easy , but get a buff and you will fly to novice in no time , speed sliced vk is a good thing too-
