Thread: Watch out for Dark Troopers now!

The three letter in the name, big black looking stormies... They 95% resist to malee now - I still took down 10 or so regular white stormies easily, but the two Dark Troopers gave me run for my money (amd TKM in good composite and good bio clothes, with food and drinks) - finally took down one but could not the other (10 min on moun)... He was shooting me for like 1000 dmg. Had to heal after every couple of hits. Even had buffs stacked with meditate - over 3000 on stats.

No just fed up with listening to rebel TKM or otherwise complain about the crackdown. Besides TKM are far to much like elves for my
liking and noone likes an elf.

Moaning is never good, i agree.
I wonder whether Rebel NPCs have also been strengthened, though? And if not, then i wonder what the reasoning is behind making Imperial troops stronger and not their Rebel counterparts?
I agree with making stormies and such troops harder - after all, they are trained soldiers. But the same goes for the Rebel trained soldiers too.
And if you read the original post, i think you'll find that there was no moaning whatsoever. It was simply someone relating their experience of the new patch. Something which should be encouraged in an information-based community.
I didn't see the poster spouting such garbage as "this isnt fair i got hit by a stormy and it hurt me i should be uber and 1337 and kill everything with one shot lol i am teh roxxor fear me". What i saw was reasonable and impartial advice.
I wonder whether Rebel NPCs have also been strengthened, though? And if not, then i wonder what the reasoning is behind making Imperial troops stronger and not their Rebel counterparts?

Ok point taken i didnt read this particular post closely enough, it is the combined effect of reading the forums as a whole that got to me. I

I always hated the Corvette Dark Troopers. Those bastards were just not worth the trouble.

The Novatropers are just plain stupid to begin with. Just like SBDs. Their only reason such idiotic NPC monsters exist in the game is because the DEVs let so many things go so wrong, and then they did NOTHING about it for 8-18 months.
If imps need such an absurdity to even threaten rebels, then they really are poor at doing their "job."
We can only pray that the Combat-whatever actually fixes things... and by the SOE propaganda at least it seems they just might pull it off.
Until then "we" are just going to kill all the regular stormies, then run from the Novatroopers... not much has changed and they're not going to stop me from killing every other imp I see for free faction and loot.
I'm not worried about them.
