Thread: Chance to dodge question?

OK from what I've read from forum searches and knowledge of the game, no dodge mods from fencer or pistoleer work while someone has vk's equipped. However, with defensive acuity there's a chance to dodge, block, counterattack, and on occasion I do see a dodge in my combat queue.

What I'd like to ask if pikitta pie or aircake will work since it doesnt increase dodge mods but increases the % chance to dodge. If someone can give me an answer I'd appreciate it, also if it works, could you tell me if the bonuses are worth it, or if it's a waste of time. If I don't get any response I'll do some tests and let you know

Thanks

With Deffence Accuity theres no was to enhance it's effectivness apart from Centre of Beign. However:

'Dodge' food works for any proffesion as it's not a mod to dodge even though it claims to be. It's best to think of it as an Evasion mod that is treated seperatly to any other deffences.

But there is a food that enhances Block this does not work the same way as 'Dodge' food & will only work while using a Pike or Riffle.

Personly I don't use 'Dodge' food much myself however I know alot of people say it is worth it. I think it's very much down to personal oppinion & what you want to use your stomach space for.

I have tried the pikatta pie and it doesnt seem to make that much of a difference, even when paired with the synthesteak....but, I wear full armor (composite sliced with all except the bracers) so it may be because of that that I dont notice a difference. For fighting, the only foods I have found that make much of a difference are the melee enhancing foods such as the rakirian burnout sauce & vegesparsine (spelling may be incorrect on that). Of course the mind foods/drinks are always a bonus too. I always go out with my brandy and a few shots of aitha in case I need an emergency mind "pick-me-up".
