Hi, I am new to the European server and am just wondering the pro's and cons of these two professions......

Ifancied being TKA but then I wanted to be a BH, can anyone sway me to either one please??

If you like being ranged and perhaps are more focused on pvp then BH allthough Investigation tree is major pain if you aim to master BH. Tka is absolutely fantastic on pve and only weakness is range (and ranged attacks )Also mastering tka takes a LOT less skill points so you can build more versatile character perhaps. Comes down which you like morein the end...

umm this isnt a europian server....i think tka is more fun than bh. i dropped mbh to become a tka

For the love of god dont go bh its horrible, i was a 2,4,4,4 bh and inv. will make you want to kill your self im now a tka and i love it. I always feel sorry for bh's because a tka if smart will own a bh every time as long as you get close to them, plus rember you go bh you only got 33 skill points left after you master, id go tka and pick up some ranges attackes to go with it like riffleman for example.

Same here, 10k-4-4-4. FKD eat my HAM and barely works. Last week, i all I had was 2-2-2-2 in TKA and I laid waste to all BH that dueled me. BTW, I alsohave smuggler/pistoleer so from a distance, panic shot, close in, unarmed lunge 1, KD2, death. Bounty Hunters are a joke to me. So are most people who have a KD attack. Think about, HIGH Defense vs KD, followed by Defense vs Posture Change, followed by Combat Equilibrium, add dodge and Defense vs Dizzy for some nasty laughs. Thats a lot of barriers keeping thier shots from knocking me down.

TKA = more fun and easier than BH.

Former BH myself here 3.4K-4-3-2 and dropped it and picking up TKA and having MUCH more fun.

Being smart doesn't neccessarily have anything to do with taking down a BH.

BH's has the easy win on us with the 1 GIANT caveat being they can't get too close to us.

For that matter any ranged class can fairly easily destroy us, providing they never get within 20m of us.

My BH is 2/1/2/1 and I've just set him aside in frustration and I'm taking my master doc to TKM.

The BH investigation tree is incredibly painful. You spend a huge portion of your playing time waiting for shuttles and then waiting for you mark to make his way toward a city where you await him. There are 20+ known bugs in that line alone.

You get your bounty mission, go to the informant, run out of town and launch your probe droid. From that point on any of the following often happen:

- Probe droid is said to have landed buy you don't see it and can't find it

- Probe droid reports mark is on Lok where only masochist BH don't abort the mission or Endor where it's almost as bad.

- You get to the mark's planet and he's 5k from the nearest shuttle

- He gets to a town before you and you can't find him. The wp never moves once he's in town, but he does

- He gets to a town and is in a wall where you can't touch him

- He gets to a town and hops a ship to another planet. (remember some of these trips cost you 3k+

- You find him at last and he has no TEF, he's white to you you can't attack him.

- You find him and when you attack he splits into two npc's of the same name and both fight you.

I'm sure I've left out some, but you get the idea. Oh, yes, and because BH retain an image of uberdom from the early days of the game, they are big nerf targets. They just nerfed the trademark BH weapon the Scatter Pistol. I may pick up my BH again someday, but in the meantime I'm enjoying my doctor/unarmed 3 on the way to tkm.

My fav tactic when PvPing is hiding, let me elaborate more

I'm being kited by a BH, i go inside a building but stand at an angle from the door so that If they want to shoot methey are gonna have to come and sit next to me, From there, KD2, apply dizzy if it didn't work, Unarmed 3, unarmed 3 and htey should be gone, Only need to unarmed 3 once if they have out their lighting cannons
