Thread: Question about vk's from a super newb brawler going tka

hi guys, after many months of boredom i've decided to drop bh for something i might enjoy, i want to go tkm, but with no unarmed experience i don't want to go through a super long grind either. I've seen people using vk's @ brawler lvl before and was wondering if the damage they put out offsets the lack of certification.

You will do less damage per hit with knucklers equiped at brawler level, but you will hit a lot more often. I believe that at novice brawler, your speed is somewhere around 4.0. You can get a speed-sliced knuckler that allows you to hit around 1.5-1.7. You will ultimately do a LOT more damage to your target even though your damage per hit will be lower.

VK's before novice increase the speed of your attacks. Go bezerk with the VK and you'll be hitting for around 200 dmg per hit if I remember correctly.

no actually..the dmg is not a factor...its the speed that the VK's help with in brawler
itll make it go faster...i got all the UA boxes and TKN in 3 hours

It's not the damage your looking for with an uncertified VK. It's a speed slice that you want. You wont do any extra damage but the speed-up makes a world of difference.

Besides just hitting faster, you will be fairly innacurate for now. Throwing more puncjes = landing more blows (hopefully 
)
