Im currently working on a great PvP template, here it is:
Master Marksman
Master Fencer
Master TKA
The reasons im taking this is because with Master Marksman, my ranged defense is high, and with the rest, my State defense are high and melee are high.
But, ever since the SWG launch, i had a thing for Pikeman.
So im wondering, what would be better for Master TKA and Master Marksman.
Should i take Pikeman, Fencer, or Swordsman?

Ditch Master Marksman, you can get better ranged defenses buy going into pistoleer or dabbling into the defensive lines of other melees and/or mastering in brawler.

Hmm...Why master marskman? I think those points would be better spent elsewhere, because at master marksman, you only get a ranged defense bonus of +17.
With just TKM and Fencer, your ranged defenses are already at +114. If you pick either pikeman or swordsman, your ranged def goes over the cap, which is 125.
Marksman is of no use to you. Imho, i think you ought to drop it.

Opps, i thought all those defenses came from Marksman, but i just looked and only 17 comes.
LOL.
Well, is it better if i go Master Brawler, Master Fencer, Master TKAwith 3/4/4/0 Pikeman?
Or with Master Pikeman?
Should i master TKA or Fencer 1st?

Ditch all marksman but pistol and then make sure to take the Pistol techniques line. You'll get Ranged Mitigation 2, a bunch of state defenses, and the best pistol specials so you can use a pistol in combat if you want.

You already have TK/Fencer defenses, which are good. The pistols tech line is also part of my setup as master TK/smuggler, with just enough of fencer to help with some more ranged/melee/state defenses.
Atama has convinced me that the swordsman is a good PvP choice, so i suggest you pick up the defenses from the pistols tech line, dabble in TK/Fencer for extra defenses and use a sword for your main attack, or just go triple master with TK/Fencer/Swordsman.

Well,it all depends on what you prefer. At master TK and Fencer, you have good defenses all around, and good offensive tactics in both PvM (you guys call it PvE), and PvP as well. I hear swordsman is good for PvE, and people in-game tell me its good for PvP (but others here disagree with this). Hence, im not sure how good swordsman is since i have no experience with it, but ive sliced some swords for folks and they seem to have very good max dmg.
Pikemen have pretty good DoT offenses, and might be better in PvP. Im not certain which you should choose, but i think it preferable to pick an elite profession over master brawler, because the defenses gained at master are negligble in comparison to an elite profession (but you'll still have the advantages of warcry2, intimidate 2, lunge 2, etc.) Furthermore, you'll already have 3 trees in brawler if you go with a triple melee master template, so i think you'll only be missing out on the abovementioned specials (which you get the lesser-versions of in novice).
Those advantages are nice to have, but i would prefer being triple master due to the sheer diversity. Im not sure if its required as master tk/master fencer, but since you enjoy using pikes, i think you should go with them. You'll be a pretty formidable foe if you use their specials correctly.
