I'm Pretty sure they are different boxes, i know i couldn't meditate disease till # 4 though

Actually, according to the Teras Kasi Order website which is pretty respected, you aren't correct. You can slow and heal bleeds at TK novice, slow and heal poisons at meditate 1, meditate 2 gives no change, and meditate 3 is when you can slow and heal diseases. Meditate 4, of course, is the point when you can meditate off wounds.

a little off topic but, i just got master meditative techniques and I have to say it is one of the most usfull skill boxes in all of teras kasi(or quite possibly the entire game). the ability to heal your own wounds in the middle of no where, without the need of stimpacks is increadible. kinda like meditation in real life, which techniqly "heal your wounds"(well mental wounds that is).
