Sorry, no template that doesn't include Jedi can be the "best".

That is certainly a "good" template though. Mine is similar but I don't bother with master fencer (you do more damage as a TK, why bother with anything but defense if you take fencer) and I don't do pikeman at all (the defenses aren't very good), and I have master brawler (which makes any melee class better).

TKM, master brawler, fencer 4440, pistoleer 0340.

Master Doctor, Master TKA, Scout 1/0/0/0. I can buff myself without insane lines, I can do all the PvE I could ever want solo, I can help people out with disease, poison, bleeds, and all states. I can buff my friends, help them with their missions and have a great amount of fun. I can get up hills in a reasonable amount of time, I can harvest enough avian and herbivore meat to choke a Rancor.

I avoid PvP like the plague so this template has worked out great for me ever since Musician gave up on me.

I've been thinking aboutTKM, Fencer 4440, Pistoleer 0340, Smuggler 0440. I think I'd be pretty decent in melee combat with that, and also have the option of pulling out a sonic blaster if needed. I'd have to find some speed attachments for pistol though. I already have my slicer title, and after grinding that I don't feel like giving it up anytime soon, but the spices I don't care for much. Anybody tried this template?

There is no best template in game "unless you have a jedi"

So, anything you have is all based on playstyle...I'm more of a pve player currently then pvp for obvious reasons with my Template.

Yet I do enjoy playing itagainst high resist mobs (I hate having onlyone damage type) so this is my way of over coming that problem yet still be useful to my group mates or just soloing.

Nothing better then seeing a high end mob slowly ticking away while at the same timeinflicting damage w/o a weapon delay...that's my type of playstyle...improved tanking ability

I'm thinking of taking Master Doc, 4400 Fencer, and 0304 TKA... not much in the way of offense, but my defenses are sick, and I can keep my guildies alive long enough to deal all the damage I need

any profession can make an uber template as long as you have the equipment. I have a current template i'm working on that lacks a few things but attachments make all the difference and high damage weapons won't hurt.

i think its better to be master of two and then add what you can.

if you don't master something you wont' have mitigation and you wont be fast enough or accurate enough in any situation.
