I have joined a solo group and was doing reb missions on terminals.

lvl 144 missions, but the payout never peeked 7k, which i can get alone. and the faction i get per missions hasnt changed, around 200 or so. i have been told it is a tka bug. this true?

No, all faction missions cap at about 7k and around 200fp. Reguardless of combat profession(s) or group size.
