Thread: If you can't always get it your way... A question of TKA Branches

Tough one
Branch 0400 is for KD & accuracy, 0040 is for Damage and Speed, 0004 is for mind hit and defense. I would pick up 0004 for sure. Maybe get 0100 and as much of the 0040 branch as possible. It also depends on your template. If you have master brawler, I say get 0044. If not, 0004, 0100, and as much of 0040 as possible.
Maybe you don't know much about this profession 0004 is for accuracy and pool hits, and why not meditate?

Im looking to add 2 TKA trees to my templete, in hopes of helping peeps out with jedi hunting and pvp. I realize that alot of people like the Med. tree, but for what I want to do with it, it just seems like a waste. I was thinking 0-4-0-4. It gives me nice Melee Mitigation, a reliable KD, a Mindhit, some melee and ranged defense.
Thanks for the help in advance.
Meditation : my fav tree, heal poison, Desease, wounds, bleeds, Force of will and Powerboost(not a rival to Doc buffs, but a nice boost to your mind for a short while.
Balance not to good defences, and to land a KD il rather use Dizzy+lunge1.
Power : A nice line, but only if you plan on using TKA as an offensive prof, no defences, but speed and damage mods.
Presicion : Second fav line, melee and ranged def mods. Pool hits, great for fighting mortals, but the presicion strikes are to weak to take down an entire pool while buffed. But are nice to finish someone off. VS jedi id rather use combo 2 or Unarmed hit 3 , since they can heal all pools.

Even though you didnt want meditate I suggest 4-0-0-4 TKA
You aren't helping. The poster said they wanted not meditate, just combat branches. 0004 is for pool hits, important, and defenses.
Why be such an arse? I have been TKM for a month, I just remembered wrong, I thought I saw accuracy in 0400.

"I don't suggest you use TKA for tanking a jedi unless your a master. If he was trying to use the melee mitigation to compliment a ranged prof, hes outta luck since it only works with a melee weapon equiped :/"
Melee mitigation works *against* melee, not *with* it. Same for ranged mitigation.
In a Pistoleer forum thread the devs answered questions about mitigation. One example:
Perrish asked: "Any word on whether mitigations from multiple professions will stack? If you're master carbineer and pistoleer, is there an advantage in mitigation?"
DEV RESPONSE: "The Ranged and Melee Mitigation levels do not stack. Two level ones does not equal level two. Only the highest one is in affect. Ranged and Melee Mitigation can both be in affect if you have both from different profession. They are not limited by weapon equiped."
