Ive heard a lot about exceptionsl weapons, where can i start looking for an exceptional VK ?

I know it might be hard to get but i got a lot of spare time at the moment

exceptional weapons usually come from higher level MOBs, probably something like higher level nightsisters (elders come to mind) and larger critters like krayt dragons and kimoglias. NS Elders have 100% kinetic resist though, so probably mastering swordsman might be a good idea before you try one. As a rule onlycreatures like rancors and harder ever loot anything. Humanoids loot either credits or items on almost every kill. Tuskens drop a lot of junk, Aa'ukans on Talus drop a lot of stuff, rancors drop a lot of hides and scales and bile & stuff (all crafting components). Nightsisters drop weapons occaisionally.

I've never been, but i hear the death watch bunker on endor also holds good loot. it is my understanding that MOBs in the DWB are 100% resistant to kinetic damage, so if you go in there as a TK, you're just going to annoy them all and do little else.

Find something that loots weapons, and kill a lot of those. Every so often you will come across a looted weapon who's name label is greenish - examine it, it is usually either a skillmod weapon (+2 to ranged speed, for example) or it is a DOT (damage over time) weapon. DOT weapons hit with poision or bleeds or disease that lasts X long and damages for Y amount. you can see all of this when you examine the weapon.

EVENTUALLY you will loot an exceptional weapon, and if you're really lucky you'll loot a Legendary weapon. Eventually enough killing will get you there, but I really can't say how long it will take because some are lucky, and some aren't.

it will take you a great deal of time (probably - some are lucky tho) to loot anything worth keeping. The odds of looting an exceptional weapon are so low that there are probably fewer than 100 on any server at any time. now, imagine how many kills happen in a day and you start to get into the realm of "wow it could take months of solid killing to loot an exceptional weapon".

If you have the time, i say go for it.

agreed with the above. eventually, you will loot an exceptional weapon. i used to hunt nightsisters nightly, now its maybe 3 nights a week if that. nightsisters drop 3 weapons (stalkers/sentinels on up): vibro lances, long vibro axes, nightsister lances. if u loot a weapon from a sister that is NOT one of the 3 i listed, then its exceptional.

i've looted maybe 7 or 8 exceptional weapons from sisters, oddly a lot come in bunches, like 2 within a week, then i dont find anything for a month or longer.

i can say this, dont give up. sisters drop rate is not high, but when u hit it big, u will be nicely rewarded.

psst uber vks coem from enraged rancors u can loot mooded vks and uber dot vks but it is VERY VERY rare lol but im sure the exceptional is possable
