Most people don't like to use macros to link the moves together. If an important one doesn't stick, you are stuck in the macro, instead of being able to redo the one you really want. I am assuming you would put the important ones at the beginning of the macro.

Well for useless grinding macros help, and if you keep your macros short it isnt too bad... for longer ones, you can always /dump (and even write a /dump macro so you have a quick button) if something goes wrong.

Basic Macro is:

/unarmed stun 1; /unarmed blind 1

/ to start a move... then the move name

; to seperate moves (and other commands like /healself or /Intimidate 1)

Its that easy for a basic combat macro.

Hope this helps... don't rely on them too much as if you do get "stuck," your dead.

I don't think those macros would work out too good. But maybe if you made a macro to do the move and unequip your VKs for less HAM costs, then have the next move equip them for more damage? Has anyone done that?

Those macros were just a basic example. And by the way, unless I'm taking on soemthing with armor, I don't use VKs. If you want to put in a /ui action toolbar macro to do VK's go for it.I never said that you had to have VK's on to do those macros, nor didI say "here is a great macro to use..." I'm just giving a basic idea of how a macro can be designed.

And by the way I use /attack; /unarmed stun1; /unarmed blind 1 as my basic PvE "start fighting" attack because it is short, and quickly sticks 2 conditions on my target.

Beware of unequipping ANDunequipping inthe samemacro, you might get a delay where you equip/unequip too soon, because equip/unequip doesn't go in the combat queue....if you wanna make macros, make one that unequips then does moves, and another that equips and does more moves, but make SURE you don't start one before the other finishes or you'll end up spamming 1/2 your unequipped moves with VK's equipped.
