Thread: TKA Healing in battle question

It seems I used to just be able to click away, click a stim on my toobar, and I would heal myself during battle. Recently it seems that as soon as I click away, which ever mob or enemy I am fighting is automatically re-targetted before I can get the stim off. As a result I have gotten in the habit of leaving my inventory window up, (hitting alt to hide it) and clicking on the stim selecting the heal-self option. Although this is highly awkward, I have become pretty adept at it.

I know there has to be a much better way to stim yourslef while in battle. Anyone have a solution for this that is tried and tested?

I have only been a doc for the first time recently so please forgive the ignorance.

The professions of this game are like 32 spice fiends in the same room with a few fences. Everyone is screaming for their their fix. If you try to give everyone a little bump at the same time, nobody will be satisfied and the screaming will never end. If you single out each one really hook them up , you will slowly end the screaming. I know my turn is coming, but it still does not ease the pain of realizing I am nobody's favorite ho. Make a macro button... with the entire macro being:

/healdamage self

When you want to heal yourself, click that button.

Yes, it will pull a random stim from your MAIN inventory; it won't pull from a pack or pouch of any kind.

Yea but the marco is so much easyier. I have it in F12 and I just press it when I need it.

I can see the macro being a lot easier. I was just stating what I do. I didn't know about the macro til now, I will probably start using it instead.

I use a macro as well,but use

/peace;

/healdamage self;

The /peace clears the combat queue so the stim is used next instead of in its position in the combat queue.

There are alternative ways to clear the combat queue but thats the one I use.
