Thread: TKA Healing in battle question
It seems I used to just be able to click away, click a stim on my toobar, and I would heal myself during battle. Recently it seems that as soon as I click away, which ever mob or enemy I am fighting is automatically re-targetted before I can get the stim off. As a result I have gotten in the habit of leaving my inventory window up, (hitting alt to hide it) and clicking on the stim selecting the heal-self option. Although this is highly awkward, I have become pretty adept at it.
I know there has to be a much better way to stim yourslef while in battle. Anyone have a solution for this that is tried and tested?
I have only been a doc for the first time recently so please forgive the ignorance.
/healdamage self
When you want to heal yourself, click that button.
/healdamage self;
you need the ; on the end.
THanks so much. I am assuming this will us a random stimpack from your inventory?
Yes, it will pull a random stim from your MAIN inventory; it won't pull from a pack or pouch of any kind.

I can see the macro being a lot easier. I was just stating what I do. I didn't know about the macro til now, I will probably start using it instead.
I use a macro as well,but use
/peace;
/healdamage self;
The /peace clears the combat queue so the stim is used next instead of in its position in the combat queue.
There are alternative ways to clear the combat queue but thats the one I use.
