Thread: Made Master TKA last night... my thoughts.
Took me 4 days.
First 2 days were spent in getting 0/1/4/0.
Played a couple of hours on the 3rd day, used up my saved combat xp and go 0/2/4/3
on the 4th day, got to master title in just 4 hours. All in dathomir hunting with groups, spammin' the ol' UH2.
In comparison, it took me2 weeks to get unarmed4 (with a vk).
I must say TKA is the one proffession that is truly a JOY to skill up. It is a bit boring when you fight, as you are really a 2-trick pony (kd, UH2) with some backup niceties (hit health or action or mind), but when you got a new box.. whoa. It was like instant reward with cherry on top.
Upping the power box... each new box you got a noticable increase in speed and damage. Going up the meditation tree was orgasmic to say the least.. power boost, cure poison cure disease.. WOW. I thought it wouldnt get any better till I hit meditate4 and saw those wounds just tick away. *wipes screen clean*.
balance and precision were a bit dull, but KD and then KD and dizzy were well worth it, and precision tree constantly gave me a new attack that in many occassions saved my arse (fighting brackasets, got aggroed by 5 of them, i kept clockwise-KD'ing them counting to 30 fromthe first one i Kd'd..and UH2'ing them until one of their ham bars was significantly lower than the others, then i hit that one specifically.. took them all down).
And then master box.. incredible increase in damage and, i wouldnt have believed it possible, speed.
No other proffession is so well designed to make you keep wanting to go up the skill trees. This proffession has no 'grind' mentality, the rewards are clear and noticable as you up the trees.When I'grinded'many other combat proffessions it was all repeat repeat , rinse, repeatrepeat,and get rewarded with something neat high upin perhaps one or 2 of the skill trees..then master box.. nothingspecial there..more mods. *yawn*.
ThisTKA master box STAYS withmy char no matter what. holocrons be dammed.

If you even read the post you would find someone who really enjoyed it and most likely experienced the build up of power in a much better way than yourself. You may say you are of man flesh, but i call you WOMAN Here today for Being a Negative Nancy
I dont use UH3. Dont use VK's anymore either.
id love you to post how you fight, im always willing to try new things, even if they come from people like you.

Dont listen to the silly little flamer, with nothing better to do. He is just upset due to the fact that you had fun while doing it and he didint because all he could think about was being the ubber profesion.

Congrats on the Master and thanks for the post. I am enjoying the ride myself going thru the TKA skills.
As far as the Sally that posted the negative comment, why even post if you have nothing to say. Don't be a D*ick. The guy is just saying he likes the profession and for a fellow TKA to comment in your way, you should just go play somethin else and stay out out of the forums.
IMHO, This is the most unbroken profession in the game.
Think of what other professions other than novice professions where everything seemingly worked as advertised.
ACK Tac...dang it...you beat me...congrats buddy...if I didn't go away the last 4 days I would have had you beat dog'nabit...As of last night I'm 350K in unarmed xpaway from master...but since a bolle bol nest nets about 110K in xp (thanks to spawns and such) I should be there tonight...

Congrats on becomming a master of the arts! I too am falling in love with this profession!!! I also just qualifed for novice commando and let me say this, it is no where near as fun as Teras Kasi!!! Plus it's a lot more expensive due to the noisy heavy weapons. lol
This is by far the cleanest profession out there. =)
