i had novice marksman and rifles 2 cuz i hate getting kited, but it's pretty useless (esp if i use a Tusken rifle for more kintetic dmg). i dropped it to help a guildmate get some quick AP and now i'm not sure what to replace it with. thoughts?

Not sure if you make your own meds but if you do either artisan skills for surveying or scout skills for harvesting would probably help. If you are a master doc/tka you only have 17 skill points left and I doubt getting any more combat skills will really help much with just novice and one block.

i used to make my own meds, but now i don't.

would i be well served to master Brawler and get Intim2 and Warcry2? not sure if there's even enought points for that though.

TKM/MD until this morning when I dropped Doc. I love Doctor, but my girlfriend plays a Doctor/Pistoleer and I decided to focus on TKA more. So I dropped doc and started picking up pistoleer and fencer (for the defensive boosts). I had Master Doctor, Master TKA, and Scout (1000). 249 points.

Scout was so I could harvest meat (buying the rest of the stuff is easy) and Exploration I for the terrain negotiation.

After mastering doc and tka you will only have 17 skill points left, not enough for master brawler which takes another 43. The best bet would be to get scout 0010. Even though you dont make your own meds it could be useful to get the organics for whoever makes them for youor to just sell them since the good ones seem to go for close to 100 creds/unit or more.

I alternate btween novice artisan, for when i need to survey.

And Scout 1,0,0,0 for going hunting (I don't buy organics I go out and kill it heh)

I have the 1,0,0,0 for the +20 terrain negotiation..I HATE crawling uphill at a snails pace...

With mounts and vehicles the extra harvesting is worth more than the terrain negotiation IMHO so I would go scout 0010. If you have a friend that does resource harvesting you could just get them to send you a wp for good resource spawns and drop harvestors without any artisan skills.

I'd recommend the terrain negotiation myself hon, although it depends on what planet you plan on hunting on(or if you are just planning on doing mostly PvP). I know people are fond of using Vehicles and Mounts as means of avoiding terrain negotiation, but having a little of your own always helps.

Plus, one thing to keep in mind, as of right now on Test Center the well known and used "free vehicle repair bug" is completely fixed. That means the cost of upkeeping and constantly using your vehicle is going to go up, and if something decides to attack your vehicle and it blows up, you can't get it back anymore.

I find myself using vehicles now only as a means of getting from point A to point B when I'm in a rush, otherwise I just walk it or use a mount on occassion. I know players on the live servers tend to have rediculous amounts of money these days, but in my opinion, it adds up enough not to be worth it unless you have to. But thats just me

But, either way, either scout 1000, scout 0010, or artisan 0001 will probably be the most useful for you with the few skill points you have left to work with.

When I was a Master Teras Kasi Artist and a Master Doctor I used the rest of my skill points on novice scout 1/0/0/0 because that gives me a terrain bonus so im not always walking up hills just in case im chasing someone. TKM/MD is a fine template for money making but I dont really manage with it in PvP and thats why i dropped it. When you have no other damage type but kinetic its kind of hard to even beat a guy with a CDEF pistol wearing ubese. Even if you are into PvP I would not worry about this because if you get your hands on a Black Sun Knuckler schematic when it comes out it will give us TKA's a heat damage which will help us in PvP alot, but anyway If you are going TKM/MD i suggest you use the points on scout
