I'm just wondering how many "old School" TKM are around.


When i first got the game TK was crap, and I knew what I was getting into, but i did it because I liked unarmed combat.


My old School I mean 1-3 months after launch only, pre-Armor pvp, back in the BH gods of pvp days. Sound Off.....

i've been TKM sence i began 9 months ago back when CH and comando were the uber professions and yes im quit disapointed in all the bandwagoneers cause it seems on my server everyone and there mom is a TKM now......

Just for the hell of it in theed or Coronet I take a look at Mastered Professions, and alot of the Titals below the name, its disapointing to see at least 10 Masters, 5 Monks, 5 Experts, just looking around one place.

Hah I remember armoredunarmedknockdown2 used to cost me about 700 or so health and action, something like 400 mind (I was always running around high on Muon back then).


Powerboost, yeah that was funny, give ya 300 or so mindwounds and buff ya for what was it 2-500 health and action? Got a whopping 30 seconds or so out of it too. I don't know about you but I wish they'd go back to the old Powerboost.

lol on my server THX was the 4th TKM, and did alot of my training, I didn't even try PB once, It wasn't till my 2nd TKM on Ahazi did I try it, once it was fixed.

I'm one of them... although I just droped TKM about 1 month ago to continue my grind to Jedi


Oh I miss it soooo much. Can't wait to go back.




I remember KD that you could spam over and over and just kill anything you wanted. I remember the crappy power boost and how you could force of will with out waiting an hour... although FoW useally never worked then. At least not for myself. Good times, can't wait to go back. Teras Kasi andI are like one. Right now I'm with out my better half.

KD went though a couple phases...


Phase 1: It was uber, you could use it over and over with little or noHAM cost.


Phase 2: The stealth nerf which I hear affected more then just TKA would cause you to kill your self if you used just one KD in combat.


Phase 3: The adition of the KD timer and the removal of the crazy HAM cost.


... maybe I'm missing some or something but these are the big 3 I remember.



A side note... and I know this doesn't make me better then anyone I just like this fact about me.


I made my character to be a Teras Kasi from the start.I'm sure there are others out there like me that still play their class they started out to get. Acually my friend wanted to be ranger and still is. I've also played a TKM for 7 months stright before I droped TKM, I have sense masterd TKA two other times for a total of three. After I get Jedi I will master TKA for the forth and final time.

Been playing TK since I started. I was pretty casual about leveling at first, wanted to explore, and didn't start long grinds for a while. I'll never drop it.

well I may not be a master but when I started the game back in July I wanted to be a TKA since I found out it was being included in the game(I love martial arts and unarmed combat)


But I also wanted to try out entertainer(I used to bea dancer *sigh* go ahead laugh)


But yea I kinda fell behind on workin on TKA *sigh* IF only I had started workin on it seriously in Aug I would have become a master *sigh*


But yea also there was a TKA taht used to hang around the Theed cantina(I think this was August or maybe Sept or even July I dont know) But I would watch some of the duels and I always thought the TKA combos were just so damn cool


so now I am basically tryin to make up for lost time


But I too am doin TKA for the love

I planned on being a TKA from when i first heard of the game. I dident consider it being uber, and i dident care when it got nerfed. i just wanted to be a TKA and i will never give it up. and i wanted to say something more:


TKA RULE!!!!!


not becuase people think we do more damage then them.. but because we are all cool

By old school do you mean being qualified for VKs from the very start without having to wait for Novice TKA?

ah yes those were the days LOL


and Yes TKA does rule


and not cause we are supposedly an overpowered profession


We rule cause our specials just are the coolest lookin ones in the whole damn game


Ok so I'm bias cause I'm a TKA so sue me lol
