Does Unamred demage skill mode add to demage when using TKA weapons (katarn knocklers or what not)?

I don't mean CA,i am jsut talking about the skill modes you get from skills.

No. If you use any weapon, the unarmed damage mods cease to function. Kind of a waste, eh?

My unarmed damage skill mod clothes don't seem to make a difference even when I'm NOT using a weapon... Go figure. Best 150k I ever spent!
