Thread: what vibroknuckler should i use? damage vs. speed

hi
i read in the stickied posts that i should use speed while i was leveling up to novice tka.
i switched from my speed sliced VK at 1.5 attack speed to my damage sliced VK
the server is "loading" so i don't have access to specific stats, but here is my guestimation
speed sliced:
1.5 attack speed 38% wound 137ish upper end damage
damage sliced:
2.2 attack speed 38% wound 157ish upper end damage
now then, i'm not parsing my damage just kind of eyeballing it in combat window.
it really doesn't seem like i am doing *that* much more damage with my damage sliced VK so i was just curious to the veterans out there... does anyone just stick with speed the whole way? or is damage really the way to go?
also, when you are grinding out TKM what is the best place to do so AND do you just /berserk1 the whole way, or are you playing around with other special moves?
i have a full suit of composite and i never grind without MD buffs and brandy

After hitting Novice TK don't use berserk anymore. Instead use unarmed hit as it will do more damage than berserk will. Also I actualy like to get in a solo group and take my time finding regular quenker missions wich with composit and buffs will be really easy. You will have 5-6 popping out at a time so just spin attack them till they are all dead. I actualy set up a macro that spinattacks 8 times, centers, and repeates and I just do this on the lair till it is dead. At times you will have to walk around so you can hit everything healing the lair.
As to which knucklers to use... speed till you get level 4 in speed at which piont you will hit speed cap and your damage sliced knucklers will do more DPS than your speed sliced ones will. Till then use speed.

You might as well get your monies worth out of the speed sliced one and wear it out grinding. As said before once you get Power 4 your damage sliced one will do more DPS, and power4 should be the first tree you do in TK if you are headed to master it.

Until power 4, speed is probably the better of the two. After you have that, damage, because you'll always hit at the speed cap unless you have rediculously bad VKs with like 3.0+ speed.

Actually, if you have master brawler, you will have +100 unarmed speed at Power 4 and therefore all VKs will be at the cap.
