I heard that there is an unarmed damage cap for tkm. is this true? should i not invest in skill tapes anymore? or whats the case
also comments on melle def and ranged def caps would be nice too, thanks

Melee and Range defense caps at +120.
There isn't a unarmed damage cap that I know of but there is a speed cap. At +97 all the specials take the same amount of time to execute.A good explanation is here.

the unarmed damage cap (excluding food) would be +275 (250 from tkm, 25 in SEAs)

Thanks for correcting me on the defense caps. I am always thinking it is 120 for some reason.
Yes for any speed weapona +100 modifierwould be the cap however, you need to weapon with a speed of 8.7 at a +97 speed modifier in order to have a real speed greater than 1.
Effectively TK taps out at +94 with a 4 weapon speed, the worst VK speed I have seen. ![]()

Ok ok, that's the difference between a practical cap and a theoretical cap.
By the way, according to SWG Damage Calculator, even at 8.7 everything caps at 1 second, at 8.8 Unarmed Combo 2 is at 1.1 speed. But it could be a matter of how you round, too...
