I'm thinking about going Master Fencer and getting Master Teras Kasi Artist for the resists. I'm not sure, but I thought I heard a while back that the devs were going to make it so that defenses that you gained from a profession would only work when you were using that profession's type of weapon. Is that true? What I want to know is if I get that template, will the defenses from TKA work even if I'm using a one-handed weapon????

yes unless you are talking about defenses like unarmed toughness
