Can anybody here confirm that u still get the uber TKM defenses while wielding a lightsaber? I have heard this a couple of times. I didn't know if it was a bug soon to be fixed or if TK is actually the best Jedi grinding profession to have while climbing the earlier initiate trees..?

My toon is TKM/Jedi and I can tell you I have insane innate armor.

Innate armor works regardless of the weapon you're holding so yes it works while holding a lightsaber. However CoB will not work while holding a LS or ranged weapon.

Actually CoB works with any weapon that is equipped aswell. True, you cant actually use it when you have the lightsaber or whatever weapon equipped, but all it takes is going unarmed, using it then equipping the weapon again, and the defense mods will still apply until CoB runs out.

My jedi friend has confirmed that it works as well. Sadly, I can't test it....

As for the stashing your weapon, CoB, arming your weapon, I'd suspect that's not working as intended, and will be fixed at some point, so I wouldn't get too comfortable with it.

I thought Jedi Innate armour even at +20 counts out your tkm innate armour if your wielding a lightsaber?

They dont cancel eachother out exactly, they just dont stack. Both work in exactly the same way so if you have +40 TKA innate armor and +20 jedi innate armor, it'll just count the +40.

Hi

I was discussing something similar with a friend of mine so maybe you can help.

He is master pikeman, and is considering putting his other skill points into TK. Would the TIK innate armour work whilst he is weilding his LVA and other polearms?

Yes, it would still work with any weapon equipped

Yeah I just posted this on the Jedi forums... If I did my math right you could be TKM, Master defender, 4000 healer, and any 2 lines of Sabers you want. Giveing insane defences, innate armor, force of will, and Avoid incap. And if and when you run out fo force, just swap to a knuckler for abit.

TKM Defense will not stack with Master Defender.
My Current temlplate is:
TKM <---4 Life
Master Lightsaber
Force Enhancement 2-0-0-0(Force Run1 and Force supressio-ROOT-)
Novice Force healer

I luv my template..even though I will never be KNIGHT..I much rather have Teras Kasi Master!
