Thread: Use Knucklers or bare fists?

A friend made me a blaster knuckler.... 255DPs unsliced .....
Now, sliced and pupped, it has a 515DPS .... it still does less damage then barehanded .... and has a higher SAC then my powerhammer...
Some pretty good motors and tissues went into this knuckler
Btw ... it has a 0.92 modified speed ..... is 1 sec still the lower cap ? ... Probably is ....

Ok this is the first tinme I have heard of Knuckler of Katan. Is it a quest reward or a loot? If it is a quest anyone know were it starts.

Theres some info about it in a sticky.
It is a quest reward, Mankind wants this forum to remain spoiler free though so maybe look on the quests forums if you want an answer to that.

If you have ROTW and can get your hands on the Knuckler of Katan you will find it is mmuch better than using bare fists. It is bugged at the moment but is still a much better weapon than bare fists due to the low SAC and the high damage.
Bare fists are better than crafter knucklers though (except maybe Black Sun Razor Knucklers but no-one knows yet as one hasnt been crafted in live post CU)

I've started using bare fists tonight (and took off my tantel boots (barefoot too! ) and found I do more damage without my blaster knuckler or Nym VK.
Now I have to balance between bunging some med skills up and losing swordsman skills (powershot seems good).
Anyone got a particular mix they are using?

I got the Katarn Knucklers tonight and was very disappointed.
I still do more damage and swing faster bare-handed. I wouldn't bother doing this quest as a TKM unless you would like the hunting trophy which is quite nice.

My DPS better not go down 
On the brightside though at least my defence will go up with it equipped now.

OK - I understand that bare fists are better than crafted VKs - my question is:
What is the damage range and DPS for bare fists at TKM?
If I know that, I can check my VKs and see if any are worth wearing.

They are bugged at the moment so they are classed as a fencer weapon. I'm master fencer as well as TKM so my DPS is 550. Should a very good weapon when they fix it though. Plus it has very low action cost.

According to the new patch notes that will be fixed today ...
