Thread: BE CLOTHES: 4x16/16Def or 4x16 Unarmed Damage to pick?

hi
i am currently wearing DEF BE clothes
but there are +15 or (+16 maybe too) Unarmed Damage Clothes too.
4x 15 would be +60 Unarmed Damage !!!!!!!!!
can somebody test damage with those and without those please

The cap for the clothes is +25, so the best choise it to take 2 of defence and 2 of unarmed damage to cap both.

and the unarmed damage mod doesn't work right now...but i bought clothes in hopes that SOE fixes it sometime..

you tested this and saw no cap??
just to clarify:
you tried starting with NO melee/ranged defense clothes: perform a series of hits. watch incoming dmg.
add +15 defense, watch hits. dmg should be reduced.
add +15 defense, watch hits. dmg should be reduced.
add +15 defense, watch hits....if there's a cap --this one won't be any different from +25 (or 30, as it were).
i'd test this myself, but i'm at work...

Confirmed by the CU Devs. There is a cap of +25. Read the stickies.

It seems to me people are saying this, while holding a VK or a weapon, and that Unarmed damage mods only affect your damage while actually Unarmed.

Unless it's changed in the last day or so they are inactive at the moment. I ran some tests compering it with Burnout sauce. They will hopfully be turned on soon.

So what's the maximum you could get Unarmed Damage up to?
345 TKM, 360 with MBrawler, 385 with mods, ?? burnout, ...

I didn't save the info - the burnout sauce test was just a follow up to something I had posted in the Corre forums.

So what's the maximum you could get Unarmed Damage up to?
TKM: 345
Master Brawler: 360
Trandoshan: 375
+25 BE Clothing: 400
Burnout Sauce: ? (don't know the max mod on that)

Are you serious that clothing mods STILL cap at +25? I have a Jedi with melee 281/range 306 defense with clothes, they seem to work and I have up to 66 range and 36 melee defense in clothing so far.
