I'm a Mster Swordsmanand thinkingabout switching my master pike for master tka. I wasn't sure if i could wear armor, at least for looks. So now I'm going master swords and TKM.

Just a little curiosity from me
I'm digging the Innate Armor we get, going out and about in style...or in my Imperial uniform when I do faction stuff. I have literally left every piece of armor I have at home now, two suits of comp reconfigured into padded for one, bone for the other, and my Stormtrooper armor, all standing like proud little statues with their arms out at their sides. Quite a change from when I would pack the pieces in MSE droids and literally have them everywhere I went. Yes, I can equip battle armor thanks to my Swordsman prof, but I've quite honestly only done so to see how the armors looked on me. When the quest's fixed and I can get clone armor I'll likely wear it a time or two just for chuckles, but I expect it'll be another statue in my home.
So, anybody using armor still? And why? No recriminations, you may have perfectly good reasons for being packed up still like that, I'm just curious as to why you'd do so.

I love the no armor fighting myself. The inate armor plus CoB makes TKM pretty darn tough.

Why I started this little thread, in part...there may well be a buncha TK's and respec'ed TK's (have heard of a few people who respec'ed to TK instead of BH, I'm so proud!), who knows, maybe they'll get the idea that they don't really need the armor.
And also, there might be perfectly good reasons for it. Roleplaying immediately comes to mind. I'm not in one, but if I was in one of the many Stormtrooper PA's I've heard of, I'd certainly wear my ST armor. Actually, I think I'd be looking for compensation for my Major's rank, since faction armor costs too bloody much, let me wear my uniform instead... Another roleplaying idea might be for somebody who's RP'ing being from a primitive society, and thus wears bone or (for Wookiees) ceremonial armor. There might be other reasons too, TK/BH's wearing their bounty hunter armor as a 'mark of their station', or (even if I still giggle whenever I see somebody in comp armor now) TKM/Master Commandos like I used to be wearing composite, I personally think of comp as 'Commando armor' thanks to my time with the Crimson Commandos.
Like I said, no flames from me, if I can think of several possible reasons for still being in armor, I'm sure others can too.

Never wore armor other than a PSG, which stacks with TIA and has those nifty effects when you get shot at
. I kind of miss my spiked gloves (ubese), but not too much.

Yeah, one thing I've got against the new bit with gloves and boots not counting as armor for stats...they still count as armor! How silly is that? Not that I miss the times when my comp boots would get wrecked and I'd suddenly find myself incapped, but I wouldn't mind wearing my bone armor boots and gloves while still getting my innate armor. Okay, so I'm wierd, I think they look kinda cool...
