I respecced to TKM/MPike/MBrawler. Seems I do more damage with less actioncosts using my Vibro Axe (94 special cost) than I do using my bare hands. What the heck gives?

the reason why you have more action and mind!!! cost unarmed is the master doc/master TKA combi.
the devs don't want a uber tank (+500 defense with CoB) with unlimited healing ability.
If you use to much specials unaremd you getting low on action and mind, without mind you can not heal.
My tip:
Master Doc
Master TKA
0040 pikeman
Use a good vibro axe (much lower mind cost) and then do this:
Cob (for defense)
Armor break (you enemy takes more damage)
KD (you have 3 different KD's, 2 single and 1 area)
leg hit (high damage)
adv. combo (high damage)
intimitate (damage reduction)
bacta infusion (self healing overtime)
armor break
melee hit
melee hit
melee hit
melee hit......(use this as auto attack until your action is full, then start a new attack)
if you get low on health use bacta shot, bacta jab and nice 1200er stim-d. (stim-d first)
don't forget to refresh CoB, bacta infusion and intimitate.
use sometimes warcry (enemy attack speed -15).
this way you can tank very very long.
oh and don't forget to refresh your doc buffs, with the +40 combat speed buff you are very fast with the pike.
sure other profession can kill the mob faster but you can not die (3 level 77-80 mobs at the same time are no problem)

or get urself katarn knucklers and go TKM/Mpike/4xxx doc, gives u 75 Action cost on katarn knucklers btw
