I was wondering if the modified DPS on some really nice Knuckles is better than the modified DPS on a really nice Power hammer? I am sure someone has tested this out, and might have posted it already but I didn't see anything so I thought I'd ask. Any info on this would be appreciated.

Hopefully I'll get to test it out soon, I've got a really nice powerhammer...and hope to have the Katarn knuckles ere long to compare 'em to.
I did kinda miss the jist of your question, didn't I? No crafted knuckles I've found compare to the worst powerhammer

My ph modified dps is about 506 dps. I cant get a knucker past 240. I wouldn't get to hung up on DPS. Its just a number that shows how much damage you would deal if you spammed melee hit1.
I have found that Master Swords/ TKM is a nice temp when doing PVP or PVE.The question I get after every duel is: "What are the stats on that hammer?". The hammer I use was crafted without Cubes or bones so a legendary hammer isnt a requirement.

Hmmm my Katarn knuckler has a DPS of over 500 i can't remember off the top of my head and I'm not in game at the moment.
I'm not i'm not sure how they figure that because I don't do anywahere near that kind of dmg per second. Matter fact the only real advantage I see in using my katarn knuckler is it uses a little less action than my bare fists.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like I'll be useing a powerhammer. Now I just gotta finish up Swordsman so I can actually use one. lol

The DPS figures for the Katarn knucklers include element damage, which doesn't seem to be implemented in the game right now (for any kind of weapon).
Therefore, the DPS that is displayed for weapons with element damage overestimates the real DPS.

I love using my N-K executer ....
DPS slightly over 500 .. but a modified speed of exactly 1 second (using pup / speed sliced ... and i'm capped @ 2-handed and general melee speed )..... also the SAC is only 96 .. or 92 .. can't remember
