Don't delete. If you really feel strongly enough to stop playing, simply cancel your account. If they get a slew of account cancellation notices the day after the big patch, they might catch on that some folks are actually displeased.
If you just delete your char they will never know the difference bewteen your displeasure and you swicthing chars/servers etc.
Then we reinstate our accounts. They have already said they will most likely hold onto all characters for cancelled accounts for a bit unless the server is bursting at the seams. It's in the announcement forum under cancelled character policy I think it is.
If eveyrone upset hit the cancel button and refused to come back til they revamp the melees, maybe we'd get some attention. Nothing hurts companies more than a kick in the wallet. Even if it's a *potential* kick in the wallet. When you cancel you get to play 'til your subscription runs out. You can always change your mind at the last minute and renew anyway.
Look at it as bluffing. If they receive many accoount cancellation notices in 1 day they'll know something is up.
