When SOE gets their priorities in order. Every single skill in the TKA class is nearly useless. They all hit you like a bomb when you try to use them. There were so many ways they could have fixed the PvE issue. ALL of them better than this. I really did try to give this patch the "good 'ol college try." I attempted using all of my skills, and each was even less effective than the next. They find time to fix our side of the PvE issue, but heaven forbid we get into battle with a pistol user. THEY STILL run just as fast away from us as we run towards them. With PERFECT ACCURACY! You can forget trying to used KD or Lunge to keep it from running, you might as well cut your arm off and throw it at your target. You will probably take less damage from it. Why they dont fix other GLARING issues and nerf us into oblivion is beyond me. Grouping should be an OPTION, not madatory. Soloists that use melee and now completely screwed.

Now since $15/month isnt all that much to me, my only decision is..

1. Keep paying to keep my hard earned 2/2/2/2 TKA alive, or

2. Knowing SOEs apparant hate for melee classes, give up and cancel.

Never mind. Over reaction on my part. Im still taking a break though, even though I havent been playing it that much. My girlfriend woke me up to one glaring fact. Its a GAME and I dont allow REAL-LIFE issues to upset me as much as this patch did.I will be playing again but not for a while. Its become clear that a 2 or 3 week hiatus is exactly what I needed. Understood, ShinmaRyche. If you are taking a few weeks off anyway, might want to cancel your account to bring the problem to the attention of SOE. I know my renewal date is August 27 (2 weeks away) but I started on opening day. If you started later you'll have a different renewal date.

You could always cancel now and renew on the last day if you want to come back after a break, or renew on whatever day you come back.

Even if you don't stop playing sending an account cancellation their way will send a clear message, even if you renew it before the subscription period actually expires. Look it as a threat...

I was on in day #1 as well, I found the love for the Mozilla subscribe method.. about canceling my acct, its definately something to think about..
