Since apparently my anger at nerf-criars in the game was wrongly aimed at fellow TKAs, let me see if i can help any.

You guys know the macro tab under abilities? set up a macro that unequips the VK, then uses knockdown, then re-equips the weapon. it's a two line macro, and quite useful as it cuts the ham cost to 200ish instead of 600ish. just make sure to initiate battle with the VK equipped. i'm pretty sure the only SLIGHT downside is that Sleeping Krayt will do less damage.

That's all well and good, but even without knuckles I lose 200 off my HAM bar, and knockdowns do fail from time to time.... If I need to use 3 or 4 knockdowns for it to work.... I'm already dead.

same here.. Im Expert TKA and never special with my knucks on... and 4 specials without knucks kill me...

i'm just trying to help. you may not be able to take giant canyon krayts, but it certainly helps some.

most stuff i hunt falls after 2 knockdowns and 10-12 hits between them

also, the 200 is divided among the 3 bars, so it takes many more uses than 4 to kill you
