I had posted earlier that the holocron told me to do TKA... and well, I'm glad it did. TKA was one of the things I considered right off the start when I was a n00b (instead I went DE/Rifleman). I've now gotten unarmed 4 (finally lol) and I'm about half way from getting novice TKA. Once I get TKA I'll have enough combat experience saved up for the first box and half of the second box, so that'll make life easier. I've always beena ranged player in any game I play, so this is all a new experience for me. A lot of new strategies to learn, and a lot of fun to be had (although, it is annoying when a swordsman out xps me right now lol).

A swordsman will probably always out-XP you on a single kill. As a former master swordswoman turned TK, I'm finding I did more damage than a TK when I was in a group.

In a group, others did the tanking for me, others did the knockdowns for me, etc. My limitations and broken abilities didn't show up much in a group.

Solo is a whole different story. Swordsman tanking compared to TK tanking is like a 10 year old child taking the hits compared to a knight in full platemail.

So TKA is more suited for soloing?

very much so,but dont say it too loud.most of the ninnies in SWG dont think you should be able play solo.because they cant organize their skills they want you to suffer too.
