For those of you thinking about going Master Brawler with TKA-

I personally don't think its worth the skill points. The three main things you are looking for in Master Brawler is Warcry2, Intimidate2, and Unarmed Lunge2. Warcry 2 and Intimidate 2 works twice as long as the original, but the second version of those attacks uses up more ham also. If it doesn't stick, usually the player tries at least twice or three times. That adds up to a lot of ham. When that doesn't work you can try KD. Lunge 2 is a very good KD move because it works at 15m. Lunge1 works at 15m also but it only kneels the enemy (or prone if he doesn't stand back up). Now you can use Lunge2 and run up to the enemy and use dizzy to keep it from standing back up. But for me by the time I walk up there the enemy already started standing back up. Second way of doing it is using Lunge1 and run up to the enemy, and use KD2.

Comments on how you guys think about Master Brawler is welcomed and appreciated.

I'm planning to go for it to also get the unarmed toughness and ranged defense mods. Not sure how helpful those will be but we'll see. Shouldn't be too difficult to master brawler now that I actually know what I'm doing and have some medic skill to help me out. (unlike when I was grinding up unarmed).

As a master brawler, and a master TK (very very soon) I can do more damage, last longer in a fight, and mop the floor with more imperials than a simple TK master could do. Yes, the skill bonus is that important. They not look great, but they are. I have a +145 to one of my unarmed skills (as the servers are down, I can't tell you for sure if it was unarmed accuracy or unarmed damage or unarmed speed). But, If a master bralwer/master TK were to go toe to toe with just a master TK (no spice, no buffs, no VK), point to point, the master brawler/TKM will come out on top.

Gonna have to drop one tree in brawler thus losing master brawler in order to master rifleman for my holocron I only have 62 SP and I need 77 altogether (63 for the prof and 14 for thre tree in marksman) Though when its all said and done i will relevel that tree and relearn master brawler.

I'm TKA 2/2/2/2 and Brawler 4/3/3/3. I'm going to master Brawler to assist me with the climb to TKM and just to see for myself what benefits it has for my fighting style. My trandoshan already has some better modifiers than Master level gives, but I want to see what Intimidate II and Warcry II do for my game (UALunge II will be fun as well).

I don't believe I'll keep Master Brawler as I want to Master Ranger, but I want to at least see how well it compliments my character. I use Intimidate and Warcry all the time. Their Master Brawler equivalents should be most helpful

What makes warcry 2 that much more powerful is the timer all of those moves are on. Warcry1 only lasts 10 seconds with knockdown and warcry on a 30 sec timer - you'll somehow have to cover for 20 seconds of combat there (actually 15, if the knockdown does work) - warcry2 would reduce that to a mere 5 seconds... or less if you can get in a posture change (meaning lunge1).

One thing I suggest with Master Brawler is to buy Bio-Enhanced clothing with the mods for Warcry and Intimidate. Makes a world of difference. I have a Spec-Ops Duster Jacket and Camo Pants that both have the mod on it...so it's stacked. I consistantly land both Intimidate2 and Warcry2 since I've been wearing them.
