Hi,

I've always wanted to try being a Teras Kasi Artist. Today i finally took the first step. I'm up to unarmed 2 in the brawler tree. my question is, what's the best way to gain unarmed XP? i know it's going to be slow no matter what, but any tips? best creatures to kill? etc. right now i've been running around dantooine with a friend killing off pikets for 200-500xp a kill.

any input would be cool, thanks

Found on Tatooine, in any basic tree, it's a 4th pillar level mission.

The one thing I liked to do when I was grinding past level 2 in brawler in general was go outside the starport on Tyrena Corellia, just off to the right when facing the starport. There's a spawn of Ragtags and Meatlumps. Just stand in the center of them if you hare in the hole FP wise. If not, you'll have to chase them down. I was after 2 days, I was level 4 on each. Course, It didn't hurt that I left myself logged in during all that time, and went to bed...heh

I was on Corellia...when I started that long...long road to TKM..
I took my anger out on Durnnis...Corellia Butterflies..and Gubbers.
I hate to say this cause I hate it when ppl still my missions, but take out everything in your path.
And I didnt use VK until i was certified.

Well I just got my fourth Holocron proffession, and it was master TKA. I'm really looking forward to it. I started as a brawler (I had intended to go Bounty Hunter from the start and the Prima guide said BH needed Unarmed 4) but I never got that far into it.

After my first Holocron (Dancer) I decided to work up to commando to hunt my second (I already had master marksman) so I used my GSP and went to Dathomir and did Kumarith missions. I got up to Unarmed 4 in only a few hours (pet tanking and me just using intimidate and berserk) but a friend gave me my second Holocron and it told me master Pistoleer so I gave it up. My third Holocron was master Ranger (which I finished last night) and I had already looted my fourth Holocron and was hoping for silence. Well it told me master TKA.

I had always been intrigued by TKA and it was my second choice after Bounty Hunter, so lucky me! I'm really looking forward to master TKA even though it means I'll be that much longer opening my Jedi slot. Unlike my other Holocron proffessions, I'll probably keep TKA afterwords if it's as much fun as it sounds. With the changes going in today it sounds like I'm joining the club at the perfect time too.

As far as template goes, I'm probably going to keep some CH for now (enough to keep my GSPs at least) as well as part of pistoleer (the Trickshot and Quickdraw trees) The added defensive modifiers from pistoleer should stack up nicely with the TKA ones. I also got Novice Medic soI can use stims. Anyone have any thoughts on this build or uselful tips?

Get yourself some speed sliced VKs, even without the certification, you'll benefit from the speed increase. I did vunocks on Corellia until Unarmed 3, then Rogue Fambaas until Novice, took me 2 days. Once you get Novice it's off to Dantooine, Huurtons are good.
