Well, last week I decided I would master brawler for the heck of it. I couldn't find anything else I really wanted to pursue besides medic and tka. So, today I finally make master brawler. I'm 2/2/2/2 in the tka tree and 3/3/3/4 in the medic tree.

Anyway, I decide to go hunting on dantooine after assigning all of my cool new abilities like intimidate 2, warcry 2, berserk 2 etc... I decide I'll be brave. I'll take huurton huntress missions since up to that time I had been working on huurton matron missions for my master brawler title.

Go to the first lair. knockdown, warcry 2, spam unarmed 2. One dead huntress in a few seconds. Throw intimidate 2 on the second along with stun and blind. The other goes down no problem and I'm taking nearly no damage.

So, I head to the second lair and while fighting the huntresses avoritor tracker aggros me. Normally, at this point I would run. But, I decided what the hell let's see what this voritor can do to me. I intimidate all three, do my knockdown and warcry 2 on the voritor tracker but he has quite the HAM. So, I just keep dizzy and blind on him and refresh initimidate on the critters when I need to. A few heals later and we have 1 dead voritor tracker and 2 huntresses. I finish the mission and head back to the outpost.

Now, mind you I'm powerboosted almost all of the time now but this isa HUGE change from what I was experiencing with the matron missions before. I also wear a set of trandoshan 67 percentubese (no gloves and boots).

So, I get brave. I decide to take the highest payout missions I can find. Piket Plains Walker missions. I take two and head on out thinking I'll be riding the cloning facility home soon. I get to the mission and after powerboosting, just dive on in. After I land intimidate on these things and accounting for my armor, they're hitting in the single digits on me. I can literally clear the lair non-stop. I tank and kill2 plains walkers and a regular. I might throw a heal at myself depending on my action. As soon as the fight is done, I'm knocking on the lair immediately and just tanking whatever pops out with no regard for aggro.

I had no idea mastering brawler would make this much of a difference. I almost don't need my medic skills. They seem to be nice to keep downtime at a minimum instead of mid-fight life savers at this point. Now, I need to figure out how to get more difficult missions since these piket plains walker missions are so mind numbingly easy. I'm thinking I'll hit Dath and see if Kamurith defilers fit the bill.

Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know of my experience. Yes, master brawler makes a HUGE difference in tanking ability.

True but with a bump up to 75 second duration and 20 second duration respectively they are a 100 more times effective. Not to mention the +20 stat mod you get at master brawler which makes a huuuuge difference. I haven't hit master brawler yet myself but I have a +13 intimidate/warcry shirt and Ihave warcry stick at least twice as often (it seems that way anyway) than compared to just novice brawler. I can only imagine what a +20 increase will do for warcry sticking.

Yes, it all comes down to duration and the ability to stick. At master brawler I stick intimidate on reds about 1 out of three times. And once it has landed that's 2 minutes of intimidate. There were times before master brawler where I had a hard time sticking intimidate on freaking huurton matrons. And then it didn't last long enough to kill them. Let alone warcry hehe.

As for warcry sticking, you're virtually guaranteed to stick warcry on a soloable red. It's fun to get aggroed by a huurton howler or stalker on my way to missions now hehe.

Right on Sabbok! I'm Mastering Brawler as well just to assist in my TKM path (currently TKA 2,2,2,2 Brawler 4,3,3,4). I always tried doing the big money makers on Dant and Dath, but got sent to the cloners more than I care to admit. I had some success along the way, but craggy bolmas and some of the others proved to be a time sink and cloner expressway.

Can't wait to get the title and use my new abilities and mods. Good job!

I'm doing the same without intimidate and warcry at all with 68% ubese... Hits are between 22-36 which Im getting, intimidate would bring it around 10 but I dont really see the point except for warcry. Well I think that I'll have to try it some day...

Warcry 20s delay
Unarmed Lunge2 20m range knockdown attack

These two alone make it well worth it. I had been a Master Brawler for awhile and I must say it was very nice. I wear BE Enhanced clothes with warcry/intimidate mods in both the spec ops jacket and camo pants. I could land level 1 of each on just about everything near 100%, and level 2 I was hitting in the 70% range on everything. Makes a huge difference. Lunge2 is also great against kiters. Lunge 1 only changes posture, Lunge 2is an actual knockdown attack. Get close enough quickly to hit dizzy, and it's all over.

oh and sabbok you could have done that at 0110 TKA, I was doing rancors at 0110 just some intimidates then a kd uh2 uh2 uh2 warcry uh2 uh2 uh2 one dead rancor. my biggest thing i did at 0110 was 3 nightsister rancors and a nightsister tamer. course my composite and my own buffs did help but i had no powerboost yet

I hit on this last week too.

1. Powerboost my 750/750/880 mind to 1300 or so and have a set of 50% kinetic or higher ubese and an average master weaponsmith vk.

2. wade into a mission spawned bol lair or mission spawned piket lair. kd1, and 3 uh2's per mob and no other specials after that. Hell you don't even have to use those specials, but it maximises time spent clearing the nest.

Damage taken is not that much. Might have to throw in a couple of stim d's per nest.
I usually stop after the first 6 to regen mind. Then finish the last 3 and the nest itself.
Pikets go down really easy due to low reists, especially compared to bols.

Lunge1 works great...but it's only posture change (ie~standing~>kneeling, kneeling~>prone). Lunge2 is a knockdown (puts them on their back).

Both are very effective and both have the range in the 20m area.
