never been there but i figure i could clear it out as a commando, but to get unarmed exp could i possibly tank them with 2 maulers, use flamecone1 on them, then go crazy with my VK's? would the exp even be worth it? I'm trying to get to TKN, and then get master.

Since you're a MCH, you can easily just send in a pet to tank and take swings at them. Bring armor.

As a TKN, it is very possible to clear out the caves. You just need good tactics and some heals... I killed 3 Tusken Snipers with no buffs and only Mabari, but if you dont watch your HAM you'll get easily whipped.

However, at Unarmed IV, I would STRONGLY recommend that you avoid Fort Tusken, primarily because you just dont do enough damage to get good XP. As Novice, I get roughly 1k-2k per kill, so its definitely worth it.

If you want to live, dont go to the caves from the top. The main reason is depending on how many tusks are down there(ranges if a group just swept it) but in my experience, if there are 4 down there, all it takes is 1 to start attacking you first, and you are toast. Especially if its one in a section that your pet can get too. 1-1 even with just a graul is no problem. I stay uptop, in the left two builidings if I go there solo, and its no problem. My problem with the cave enterence down below is my pets cant always see the agros inside, so I am left to going in there first, sending pets at my first chance, and hope they dont attack me first. I think the best idea is to move around outside the caves, and hit the raiders out there.
