Can someone give a quick explanation of unarmed toughness and what it does?

All melee toughness mods work only when using that weapon (i.e. unarmed, polearm, etc...) and act as a percent resist against melee damage. A TKM has 57 unarmed toughness, this means that the player has 57% resists to all melee attacks. This is calculated in conjunction with armor, so you get this defense with and without armor on, but only operates with melee attacks.

Does this mean that Unarmed thougness only works when i have a weapon equiped(VKs)??????

If so... Then thats just wrong... I think the devs should try to make TKAs do damage with no weapon...

VK should be an alternative to fist fightning, but also at a cost IMO!

Unarmed toughness comes in when you are fighting unarmed, this means with no weapon or with VKs. It has nothing to do with damage output.
