Thread: What can I do if I don't have any medic?

Feel free to mock me for not having even novice medic, and feel free to tell me that I really really should have some medic to help me out, but I won't .
I just made TK novice, and have been reading some of the posts about levelling up, but I was wondering if those all assume that you'll be able to heal yourself? Can I run around lok killing gurks etc. (while buffed and hopefully armored, of course) without needing to heal myself? Or do I have to lower the expectations of those posts so that I don't take as much damage?
Thanks in advance for any help,

You can certainly run around without healing yourself, if you're buffed and use low-HAM armors in PvE (ubese or low-ham composite). Your secondaries should heal you fast enough between fights. Just make sure to get outta there if something hits you harder than you can regen or kill it.

Generally, when talking about buffs and high-kinetic armor, most people don't really need healing, but it does speed them up in between fights.

Get a stimpack droid, and have a doctor load it up for you. They only use stimpack-a's and heal for the base number on them, but there is no delay in it, and it's better than nothing. A stimpack has saved me a few times.

I've been hunting on Yavin for a few days with High Kintetic% Composite, doctor buffs, some damage reduction food and some brandy. While hunting outside under the stars (that I'll be flying in soon) I've probably used 4 stims the whole time.

I tried using a stim the other day and because of lag it didn't go off. I healed before it did.

With buffs and a good armor, you probably won't need the stims. Most likely you will run out of mind before anything else. Just make sure you are on top of that have musician/dancer buffs and a little brandy to enhance the mind as far as you can. Spamming UA2 will drain your mind in armor pretty quick if you haven't buffed it. Grab some Neutron pixe and Muon gold and always have them in the quick bar. It should be used as a last resort kinda deal but can save you from getting incapped.

First, congrats on reaching veteran status, I see your post count just hit 100.

*migrates his stats based on this advice and his experience hunting on Dant last night*
Really really wish I could buff myself as a master musician. There aren't nearly enough of us in the game, and I wasn't able to find a master to get buffed last night. My subpar buff and brandy kept me *ok* for the most part, but I needed to be really really careful.
Hopefully the migration will help, and I might need to look into the neutron and muon to save my ass when it's not enough.
Thanks for the advice everyone!
